Best Day and Time to Upload a Video?
Sequelmaker recently asked for advice on the best day and time to upload a video. While there's no definitive answer, here's what some people advised:
- Weekends. It's kind of nice to upload late on a Saturday night and go in on Sunday morning and see who has seen the new upload. -- Rickbell7
- I find that Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays are slowest for me. I usually get the most views at around Saturday evening (not night) and most of the day Sunday. -- jawharp1992
- Monday would not be the best day as people are getting back to work and catching up on stuff that happened over the weekend. -- jeremiahjw
- From statistics, website counters, etc. it is shown that by far Monday evening is the busiest time at the internet...so you want your things to be up a few hours before that happens. -- djmambito
- The weekend traffic to the site is worth considering...Consider also that YouTube tends to conduct site maintenance on Wednesdays [when] videos are sometimes unavailable for viewing or comment postings may be unavailable. -- AVDJ

Per my comment on Monday, I was referring to early morning-late afternoon. I could see how Mon eve could be a good time, although I'd prefer to upload a video in the morning to get the most views in the first 24 hours.

I feel it depends on what type of Clients your after. What type of content you want to market. Show me the money! If your uploading video or doing live internet Video chat hosting. However if your pushing Charmin TP maybe on the Mornings while Mom's surf the internet while Dad and Kids are Out and about
The University of Calgary has done research on this and the results are surprising. Wednesday and Thursday were the days that most videos were being viewed on YouTube, Saturday being the lowest. Keep in mind that the content of your video will be far more important than the day you upload it (when determining popularity/view count). Every little thing can help though. ;)

I would say that Friday nights are great for me, gives me the chance to upload take Generic Cialis and go out for a spin all in one night, but there is no Youtube day or something so that really could be luck or content.
